The Super Bowl is a few weeks away. The Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots will play for the Vince Lombardi Trophy in Houston, Texas. The Super Bowl party is like a national holiday. Friends get together to eat snacks, appetizers and hors d'oeuvres. From pizza to wings to popcorn and everything in between, food is what we do while watching the game and commercials. Here are my top 5 Superbowl party snacks.
I get asked over and over again, by people that want to get into the popcorn business, what they should do to be successful. My advice is usually technical. Machines to buy, marketing strategy and so on. But the one thing I can not test is their desire to be successful. Does the person have what it takes to make popcorn with passion.

“He had us at cheddar bacon,” said Jill Green, property manager at TMN Commercial. “We knew we made the right choice for our client gifts when Chad Jordan of Cravings Gourmet Popcorn walked into our office with a bunch of flavors to sample…including cheddar bacon.”
We are in schools often and see how hard teachers work in their classrooms. It is amazing the dedication and time they give to help young people become successful adults. Many times, the teacher is a parent figure or hero to a student. We should support teachers more.
We've tried to stay consistent with the quality of our popcorn and the flavors we create. All along the way, we have listened to the ideas and suggestions of our customers. You never know what flavors are going to become super flavors. Sometimes it is trial and error. Other times it is obvious from day one that we have a hit.
It is amazing and I am thankful that Cravings Popcorn has become a Christmas holiday tradition. It is truly humbling. People buy popcorn for people they love. To show appreciation to teachers, co-workers and family members. I can't believe how much popcorn will be in stocking on Christmas morning.

I always feel horrible when we mess up an order. But, 9 times out of 10, when we go out of our way to make it right, I feel way better than I did before. The customer is not always right. But we can usually find a way to make everyone happy.

I certainly thank my wife and sons, as well as, family members and friends that kept me motivated when I wasn't feeling my best. It has not been an easy road. The journey required many people to keep the train on the tracks.

Nearly 10 years of making gourmet popcorn. It's funny, we started in the farmer's market and all these years later, it feels like it was just yesterday. Lot's of stories to share. Some good times, some bad times. But, through it all, I am proud to have been able to meet lots of great people and have tons of opportunities to do fun and exciting things.
