Fishing for candy? Fishpond, fiskdamm, is a very popular game for birthday parties in Sweden. It's a way of getting your bag of candy when the party is ending. The kids stand in line in front of a curtain covering a door opening and fish for their candy using a pole with a string attached. The person on the other side of the curtain attaches the candy and when the fish bites, the child pulls up the catch. It's candy for everyone to bring back home!
