Spiritual inspiration is a rare thing

Inspiration can come from anywhere at anytime. But inspiration that moves your spiritually and deeply is as rare as finding oil reserves in your backyard. But something strange has happened to me. I have been spiritually touched three times in less than a month and the effect it is having is profound.

Legendary sushi chef Masa Takayama wasn’t allowed to touch a knife for many years. He had to master washing dishes and making rice. Mastery of the craft begins with mastery from the bottom up. Now his restaurant in New York City charges $595 per plate. Every customer gets a new table because Masa sands every table for each guest.

Violent Femmes performed on CBS News. What makes this special was the musician playing the Weber grill. His craft is not playing the drums, his craft is creating beautiful music.

The Defiant Ones featured Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre of N.W.A. fame. Never give up. Be persistent. Be true to yourself. This movie showed me that pushing the limits of yourself towards your craft will ultimately bring you success.
