Be a tourist in your own town is one of the most exciting days for families in the city of Lansing. The reason it is exciting is because you can see parts of the city that you don't normally visit on a daily basis. Kids love it because they can ride the bus to have that big city excitement. They get to see buildings and neighborhoods from a different perspective. Leaving your neighborhood to see other parts of the city will open your eyes to new businesses, places to eat and things to do. There's a lot to be proud of in Lansing and June 4th is a great day to go out and see your city.
